Agency creative-turned-director Quentin Deronzier hones his multi-disciplinary skills with this live-action/CGI mash-up, produced by La Pac, that features a futuristic gaming-inspired universe.
Titled BRRR, the track tells a nightmarish tale of mobile phone angst and depicts the mysterious French EDM DJ/musician – who always appears in public wearing a skull mask – joined first by Laylow and then Rim’K – the trio ultimately finding themselves trapped in a dodgy sim-card scenario in a woman’s handbag.
Cauchemar’s real identity has been unclear since his first appearance in 2017 and the track's lyrics don't offer an abundance of clarity storywise, with Google translate offering such lines as "It smells good of horror so the girls are doing good to touch the big prize."
Hmmm. All you need to know is that it’s about phones and sex and is kind of brrrrilliant.
