In many European countries, like Norway, the main Christmas events - opening the presents under the tree, sitting down to a big family feast, and watching carols on the telly - take place on Christmas Eve. But public sector workers often miss out, because they're still hard at work.

KLP pays tribute to these hardworking folk with this sweet little film, created by Anorak Oslo, which sees a little girl celebrating Christmas Eve with her family, and then recreating it all again for her dad, a snow-plough driver, when he returns home in the early hours of the next morning.

The film was directed by Harald Zwart via Motion Blur.
