The Instituto Ayrton Senna (IAS), a pro-education initiative founded by the state of the late Formula 1 racing icon Ayrton Senna, hopes to inspire Brazil's athletes ahead of the Olympics with this animated spot.
Created by JWT Brazil, the spot tells the story of Senna's first home Grand Prix at Interlagos 1991. Although the driver had problems with his car and things didn't look good for him, he never gave up and went on to win in front of the home fans.
22 years after his passing, Senna is still a national hero among Brazilians. According to a 2013 poll, he is still seen as the number one source of inspiration among athletes, even with those born after his time.
The spot was produced by Le Cube and helmed by Ralph Karam.
