Vitra: Map Table

Animation director Celyn's film follows the story of a young designer, her business start-up and Vitra's Map Table.

Commissioned by the cutting-edge Swedish furniture firm as well as renowned multi-disciplinery designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Nexus talent Celyn used hand drawn 2D animation to create the piece, which boasts a distinct illustration style and colour palette.

The natural flow of each scene perfectly emulates the many useful aspects of the new Map Table's construction and the growth of the simple geometric shapes Celyn uses to represent the product.
