San Francisco agency Citizen Group, along with visual effects house Ntropic and production company Chromista, have created this interesting and powerful spot for the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault to discourage gender sterotyping. Break the Box presents portraits of young people subjected to harassment and stereotyping based on gender, showing their minds filled with destructive words.
The spot makes the case that this kind of stereotyping is a root cause of sexual violence in society, as it creates unrealistic and often problematic behavioural expectations.
