Award-winning Los Angeles-based 740 Sound Design & Mix has announced the promotion of Andrew Tracy, to the position of lead mixer/sound designer. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he studied sound design and music synthesis, Tracy has designed sounds for hundreds of national television commercials and nearly every major national brand including AT&T, Chevy, Nintendo, Intel, Google, and Audi since joining the 740 team in 2008. Fascinated with all things audio and constantly searching for new ways to make noise, Tracy’s most recent set of accomplishments with the 740 family include audio mixing on Volkswagen’s Rocking Out, directed by Phil Morrison with Deutsch LA; sound design for EBay’s Pony directed by Matt Aselton for Venables; and sound design for PlayStation’s viral hit Battle Royale, another Deutsch LA collaboration directed by Simon McQuoid.
