Hungryman adds directing talent

Hungryman has added rising star Robert Nylund and award-winning director Axel Laubscher to its roster for all Hungryman offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Rio and Sao Paulo.

Nylund is a Swedish talent who, during eight years at Social Club, has directed commercials in Scandinavia, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the USA and Japan. He started his directing career in 2004 and since then has received acclaim and awards at Cannes, Spotlight, Klappe, New York Festivals, ADC, Prague International Festival, Epica, Eurobest and a gold at Cresta. At the heart of his work lies a subtle humour based around human experience and a love for both strong storytelling and unique cinematography.

Laubscher is an experienced director having worked in a number of countries and has made both short films and commercials. He founded Swedish production company Social Club in 2002 and has won a myriad awards from all around the world including a Cannes golden Lion and Swedish Golden and Silver Eggs. A great storyteller with a unique sense of humour and love of working with actors, his films blend emotion, cinematography and memorable performances.
