Abelone Films welcomes Renata Lučić, an award-winning Croatian film director and screenwriter, to its roster. 

Based between Berlin and Zagreb, Lučić brings a cinematic voice defined by emotional honesty, striking visuals, and a strong sense of cultural awareness.

Lučić has already made a mark with a variety of commercials and branded content, including projects for retail and consumer-focused clients, demonstrating her ability to connect brands with audiences in authentic and engaging ways. This combination of commercial savvy and artistic sensibility positions her uniquely as she expands into the German and wider European markets.

Her short Fifth Floor on the Left received the Best Short Fiction Award at the Veracruz Film Festival, while her documentary As Far as Our Feet Take Us won multiple international awards, including the Audience Award at the Mediterranean Film Festival Split. These projects highlight her talent for crafting emotionally resonant, character-driven narratives.
