This playful campaign, directed by Arthur Studholme through Pulse Films, uses tongue-in-cheek humour and the 'aww' factor of tiny household appliances to offer Brits an absurd quick-fix for cutting down their energy bills.
Introducing… the one-brew kettle. Perfect for reducing your carbon emissions, not so great for doing a tea round for the whole family.
The spot stars a household who attempts to go green by replacing their kettle with a smaller model, struggling with all of its hilarious impracticalities, before admitting that it’s probably a better idea to only fill their original appliance with as much water as they need.
Whilst being fun and relatable, the ad also managed to subtly draw attention to how important it is that we all make small, easy, eco-friendly changes to our everyday habits.
