In a clever mix of product showcase and branded content, Will Robson-Scott utilises the Nightography features of Samsung's S22 Ultra to shoot a short series of documentaries focussing on those who do well in the wee hours.
In the trio of films, named Nocturnal Narratives, the Somesuch director covers such homegrown legends as Dalston-based florist My Lady Garden, pioneering boxer Safiyyah ‘The Hijabi Boxer’ Syeed and underground music collective, Keep Hush.
To celebrate the release of the short films, Samsung held a filmmakers’ exhibition and masterclass live at Samsung KX on 28th March.
Commenting on the campaign, Ashrita Seshadri, Head of Brand Marketing at Samsung UKI said: “Celebrating the launch of the Galaxy S22 series, these films showcase the incredible Nightography capabilities on the new devices. Through telling these unseen individual stories and premiering them with our director, we hope to inspire the next generation of filmmakers and push the boundaries of what a smartphone can do.”
