Getting the perfect Christmas gift, especially for the in-laws, is a tricky business.

Likewise, launching your first TV advertising campaign in the notoriously over-saturated festive period is a little tricksy too.

Combining both issues and, like all good tricks, delivering them with aplomb is this hilarious new spot for reusable bottle purveyors Chilly's. Embarking on their first TV work, the brand enlisted the talents of Uncommon and Biscuit Filmworks' director Aaron Stoller to tell the cheeky tale of a fella who may have over-thought (and overstepped the mark in creating) his father-in-law's pressie.

The spot is joined by a series of print executions that continue the offbeat tone.
