Directed by Pedro Becker through Delicatessen Filmes, this cleverly produced spot from Brazilian mobile network Vivo visualises how the endless stream of notifications from our phones can feel like drowning.
The film follows a man who, from the moment he wakes, is glued to his mobile phone at every moment throughout his day. Distracted by a barrage of constant pings demanding his attention, he fails to notice that each room he moves through is slowly filling with water.
Shot over just three days, with three days of production in between, each scene was impressively executed using real water, with each set carefully crafted to fill up like a swimming pool.
