Try as you might, you'll probably find it hard to source a more sad-sack spokesperson for a city than Halfdan, the surly protagonist from this new spot for Visit Oslo.
However, thanks to director/writer August Jorfald's witty script, plus a joyfully deadpan performance from Bendik Aunan, the character's moans are actually sly encouragements for many to visit the location's low-key charms - the question of Is it even a city...? being a delightful driver.
"He's a well-informed vagabond who is too cool for all kinds of tourism," explains Jorfald, "and, not least, he's too cool for his own town.
"At the same time, Halfdan gets a little confused in his opposite 'coolness'. He is all alone, poor thing."
