Haunting, hopeful, and full of promise, a series of vignettes comprise the short ad I'll Get To You, centering on the world’s response to COVID-19.

This PSA for Médecins du Monde, an organization committed to vulnerable populations and raising awareness of healthcare access is an intense reminder of the toll the pandemic took on the world at large, not just in our homes. French actor Denis Menochet speaks over a series of intense pieces of film, mothers holding children, a family restaurant, the view from a refugee boat crossing the dangerous waters.

With the need for universal and inclusive access to health care made apparent in 2020, the ad reveals that Menochet is not speaking as the voice of the virus as it affects the population of the word, but the doctors who respond to it. I'll Get To You was directed by Jessy Moussallem and produced by Phantasm and Object & Animal

“Our slogan, la santé avant tout [health before all], at first glance obvious, takes on its full meaning today in the context of the global pandemic. On the front line since the start of Covid-19, we have been able to observe the deepening social inequalities exacerbated by the crisis”, says Dr. Philippe de Botton, President of Médecins du Monde. “The right to universal health protection and effective access to healthcare for all must no longer be the utopia of a few, but an absolute necessity.”
