On 14 October, Australians will vote on the historic Voice referendum. This would enshrine in the nation’s constitution a way for Indigenous Peoples to advise parliament on policies relevant to them.

Created by Sydney agency The Monkeys and directed by Kaytetye and Warwick Thornton, through Photoplay, this emotive campaign is driven by Farnham’s ridiculously rousing song  and – in a kind of dramatic down-under Gogglebox – features a family through the ages as they gather in front of the telly to watch transformative moments in Australia’s history.

These include Cathy Freeman (above) becoming the first Indigenous Australian person to win a Commonwealth Games gold medal in 1990.

The Uluru Dialogue is a group of First Nations people from across Australia who have the mandate of the Ulura Statement from the Heart, which bids for constitutional recognition for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
