Stitch welcomes Sara Faulkner to editing roster
Faulkner’s career started with an internship at Windmill Lane in Dublin, where her involvement with the editing team convinced her to give post-production a go.
London's Stitch Editing is excited to announce the addition of Sara Faulkner to its Stitch and Homespun rosters.
Previously working freelance, Faulkner has created an enviable reel of commercial work in recent years, cutting films for brands including Mugler, Peloton, M&S and Nike. In turn, she has worked with directors from Florian Johan and Thomas James to Tom Cockram and Meji Alabi.
Faulkner’s career started with an internship at Windmill Lane in Dublin, where her involvement with the editing team convinced her to give post-production a go. She’s not looked back since, making the move to London to work at Peepshow, Speade and Envy in order to hone her craft.
In addition to her exceptional commercial work, Faulkner has also curated an impressive music video reel. Her continued partnership with Fiona Garden has seen her cut multiple music videos and live tour visuals for Bullet for My Valentine. Faulkner also counts promos for Bobby Gillespie and the English National Ballet amongst her portfolio, working with Thomas James on both projects.
Commenting on Faulkner’s move to Stitch, co-owner Leo King says: “We are over the moon that Sara is joining the team at Stitch. Her reputation precedes her as a brilliant commercial editor, and her experience across a variety of projects will make her an invaluable part of the team. Sara’s style complements our current roster really well, while her experience across both commercials and promos made our decision a very easy one. We can’t wait for her to make a start and see how she develops during her time with us.”
Faulkner continues: “Joining the team at Stitch is a real privilege. I’ve long been an admirer of the Stitch and Homespun rosters, so to now be part of that team is super exciting! The work everyone here produces is always incredible, I can’t wait to get stuck in!”
