Following last year's The Count, which won Gold at Cannes Lions, the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) has collaborated with TBWA to launch this impactful new film, titled Life On The Line.
Directed by Nico Perez Veiga through Iconoclast USA, the film features a SickKids patient hooked up to numerous IV lines. Each line tethers the patient to one of their future selves, demonstrating that their future depends on their survival in this moment.
Paired with reflective Billie Eilish track everything i wanted, the story stars real SickKids Patient Ambassador Olivia Yang, a ten-year-old who has been a SickKids patient since she was just 11 months old. Olivia’s mother also appears as the oldest version of her in the film.
"Every SickKids patient is full of so much potential. That's what we're fighting for. Their ability to live a full and happy life. So, we thought it was important to show the world that when you save a child's life, you save their whole life," says Morgan Starr, Creative Director at TBWA\Canada.
