#MissiontoEarth features a melancholy robot as it projects memories of Earth onto a piece of stone, remembering the people on the ground who have sent it to Mars. Noted materials company Saint-Gobain shows off places where its products are used - trains, homes, and neon lights all get a brief nod.
A sweet and sentimental ad, Saint-Gobain has managed to attach itself to lofty goals by reminding the audience that their value comes from their dedication to the planet. The eco-conscious brand has, for a few years, worked to innovate new ways to protect the environment while producing components that serve the consumer. These are what are really highlighted in the video, which gives us a clear way to connect without getting bogged down in CGI or exaggerated visuals.
