Continuing the brand’s ongoing campaign out of EightyOne featuring the big pink personification of power, the ad was directed by The Bobbsey Twins from Homocide through FINCH.
Offering a surreal interpretation of the classic corner store, it features a group of zany characters, all with with their own power-purchasing foibles, symbolising the freedom a Powershop customer has in their energy buying choices.
The design of the insanely colourful energy ‘supermarket’ is zingy and the sweetness of the add should give you a warm fuzzy feeling not unlike a low-voltage tingle to the heart.
Chris Bleackley, ECD, EightyOne commented: “Milk. Bread. Eggs. Big pink thing. Tons of fun. Quality production. Brilliant post. Brave client.”
