The football pitch can be notorious for negative attitudes, but this new campaign for Nike from Wieden+Kennedy London is hoping to give those cliches the boot.
Focussing on an excellently puppeteered football whose views are as out-of-touch as his stitching is frayed, Nice Guys Finish Last gives its nastiness a humorous edge, beautifully brought to life by Riff Raff's Rich Hall.
The punchline (or should that be 'kickline') to the piece is a nifty bit of footwork from UK hero Marcus Rashford, whose humanitarian efforts off the pitch put the ball and its believers firmly in their place.
