Microsoft series hangs in the balance

This new campaign for Microsoft's Surface Duo is a five-episode series which follows a busy mother juggling home life while also uncovering an act of espionage in her new job.

Created by Assembly London and Microsoft and directed by Marley Morrison the campaign, which is called In the Balance, was borne out of the quirks of lockdown and finds Lisa, our intrepid mum (played by Bafta-nominated actor Lily Frazer), ‘in the balance’ as she follows the clues to unlock the workplace mystery in order to save her job while, at the same time, managing to organise her twins' birthday, locate a missing cat and undertake the joy that is homeschooling. 

The series was co-written by Jess Bray, a BBC New Comedy Award nominee and, as well as Frazer, stars Alexandra Moen from the BBC's Dublin Murders and Sky Atlantic’s Fortitude.
