Known for its work with brands like Viacom, HPE, and Lexus, Sibling Rivalry recently teamed with Audible to deliver campaign creative to hype the release of Meghan McCain’s new audio memoir, Bad Republican.

Sibling was tasked with telling the story of a modern conservative woman striving to define herself in today’s polarised America. Like Meghan, the campaign for Bad Republican is bold, proud, and an accurate reflection of her unflinching yet polished personality.

“The spots we created put Meghan’s character, personality, and fierce confidence centre stage as she delivers candid statements from her memoir,” says Executive Creative Director Lauren Hartstone. “Given the varied interests and viewpoints of Meghan’s audience, we worked to keep the focus on Meghan’s confidence in her own complex political beliefs.”

Working with Audible, Sibling Rivalry conceptualised, designed, and produced campaign and launch assets for Bad Republican including the logo, key art, cover art, social assets, digital banners, OOH, billboards, and editorial assets.

Additionally, Sibling was able to hone in on Meghan’s personality and develop a graphic and typographic style that mirrors her confidence and the energy of the heightened public scrutiny she faces in her life.

“At Sibling, storytelling is at the heart of everything we do,” says Hartstone. “And working with a collaborative partner like Audible who deeply understands the importance of compelling and strategic creative really makes all the difference."

Bad Republican, released to the public on Oct. 21st, tells Meghan’s story, in her own words, about being an outspoken conservative millennial woman during some of the most divisive times in American history, inviting listeners into the unwavering heart and mind of a young Republican woman with a healthy refusal to back down.
