Stitch Editing announce the addition of Oscar-nominated editor Pete Sciberras to its talented roster.

Sciberras is known for his meaningful narratives and a unique visual style that shines through across his film and commercial work. This includes cutting the Oscar-winning film The Power of The Dog, for which Pete received a Best Editing Oscar nomination.

Sciberras also edited 2019’s The King starring Timothée Chalamet and has just completed work on Sir Steve McQueen’s BLITZ starring Saoirse Ronan. Aside from his impressive film catalogue, Sciberras has built an enviable commercials reel, collaborating with directors including Hamish Rothwell, Steve Ayson, Nick Ball, Kim Gehrig, Gary Freedman and Steve Rogers.

“As soon as we met Pete, we knew he’d be a great fit in our team” says Leo King, co-founder of Stitch. “You could instantly feel the love he has for his work, and his ability to craft amazing narratives will bring something truly unique to our roster. Pete’s dedication to his craft is something I really enjoy working with and get so inspired by. I am over the moon that he has officially joined the Stitch crew.”

“We hit it off right away,” agrees Sciberras. “Stitch has a such an impressive body of work, and they have always been committed to allowing their editors to be creative and express their style. That’s something that really fits in with my ethos, and I know working with the team is going to be a great experience.”

Sciberras' latest project has seen him cut PG Tips advert Rock Solid, directed by Sir Steve McQueen. Starring Ashley Walters, the project is the first Sciberras has cut at Stitch and has been met with glowing reviews upon its release last weekend.

Sciberras is now available for editing projects across film, short film, commercial and music videos.
