1stAveMachine, a global mixed-media production company, has appointed James Okumura as Executive Producer and promotes Christos Mountzouros to Post Production Executive Producer. 

In his new role, Okumura is responsible for the quality and success of all client relationships within the commercials division of the business and will oversee the work of project producers in live action, experiential, animation and VFX. Mountzouros was previously the head of post production at 1stAveMachine. In his elevated role as Executive Producer, he will collaborate on creative pitches and pursue new business opportunities to foster further growth within the post-production and visual effects departments.

James Okumura brings over a decade of experience in helping to create groundbreaking commercial content and experiential activations globally. With a diverse background that includes roles as a creative director at The Thinkwell Group, a digital media producer at Apple, and a partner at HELO, James has consistently delivered award-winning work for top-tier brands and agencies such as Burger King, Canon, Disney, Google, Lexus, Puma, Samsung, and Sony. His notable achievements include the Emmy award-winning social film "The Beauty Inside" for Intel and Toshiba, and the Cannes Silver Lion-winning immersive experience "In Someone Else's Shoes" for Santander.

Christos Mountzouros’ impressive client roster includes notable names such as Apple, Google, The NY Rangers, CNN, HBO, Amazon, Samsung, and Disney. With over a decade of post production management experience, his design, animation, and visual effects expertise in broadcast, social, and digital commercial work, spans a wide range of projects, such as experiential activations, fashion films, and award winning commercials.
