With direction from Gary Freedman through LA\PAC, the French fashion house's festive spot takes the form of a romantic comedy between two of the brand’s iconic characters, Teddy the bear and Vivienne, who embark on a magical journey soundtracked by The Turtles' song Happy Together.
The characters venture through an enchanted world which brings the brand's creations to life, before falling in love in the house of Asnières, the historic home of Louis Vuitton.
The spot was shot in Budapest across three different film studios, combining live action footage with animation to create a playful campaign consisting of a hero spot, still life photographs, and social media assets.
To create the film, an ambitious set was built at multiple different scales, which allowed the characters and storyline to evolve around it, such as the Vuitton trunk set which was built using over fifty LV trunks, some of which were real museum pieces.
