With direction from Chris Balmond through Tony Petersen Film, the food delivery service has collaborated with local musician Dilla to create an upbeat music video that plays on the German saying ‘whatever you’re up to next, Erstmal Essen’ (eat first).
To make it an expression that everyone associates with the brand, the food delivery service commissioned Dilla to produce a catchy song, giving her own interpretation of the campaign's message.
The initiative consists of four short ads, a huge variety of OOH, and a fun music video made with a combination of video tape style footage and colourful choreographed scenes.
Each iteration demonstrates that whatever the situation, whether the dog has eaten your homework, you’ve been jilted at the altar, or you're robbing a bank, the best thing to do is to eat first.
