The healing power of animal interaction has long been known, but it's still amazing to see how deep the effects can run in the most unlikely of situations.
For its three-part branded entertainment documentary series, SHEBA has decided to explore the power cats have over people and their deep connections to their human counterparts.
However, we're not talking about the conventional family moggy, as the feline stars of AMV BBDO's Prison Cat, Military Cat and Adventure Cat go to show how being placed inside the walls of a correctional facility, or the home of a veteran in need of a companion, or even going on the mountain climbing adventure of a lifetime, the power of the kitty is strong.
Shot with warmth and intimacy by Academy Award-nominated and Louis Theroux veteran director Geoffrey O’Connor, and given enough length to allow the stories real breathing-room, The Cats That Rule The World is one of those branded exercises that achieves the dream combo of both being compelling and fascinating to watch whilst also embodying the ethos of the company it carries.
