Let's face it, if chess were as glam as this gorgeous promo for artist Joy Crookes' new track, Trouble, we'd probably see a few more people throwing out Albin Countergambit and unveiling their Bishop's Opening.
Directed by Partizan Darkroom's Nono, the film complements the catchy song with some wonderful shot construction and lovely art direction.
"This is my second experience working with Joy [after their first collaboration on Skin], and it was just as fantastic as the first one," comments Nono. "I really admire her as an artist, but also how determined and hard-working she is as a performer. She even bruised her hand with one of the sword shots but she really wanted to keep shooting and deliver an amazing performance."
