8-bit pixel art is so passé, all the cool kids are into 1-bit nowadays.
Taking its style from the old-school Macintosh Plus and early PC adventures from the likes of Cyan World, animator/director Joel Plosz's wonderful promo for Louis Prince's The Number Thirteen relishes in its stripped-back aesthetic and nostalgic presentation.
Telling the tale of a flushed fish who finds its calling down the pipe, the film's distinctive look and magical synergy with Prince's track makes for a throwback worth revisiting.
