It's all there: gleaming towers of commerce; tense press conference; Gerri smashing it with her composed, icy smile; there's even the plinkety piano music hinting at Nicholas Brittel's stunning Emmy-winning theme tune. 

Created for Jif by BBH USA, the campaign's Succession-spoofing hero spot The Merger was directed by Wayne McClammy, through Hungry Man, and announces a thrilling union between two great innovators in the spread space – the fictional companies: The Peanut Butter Group and Chocolatey Corp. 

"Word on the street – PB's getting into bed with Chocolatey!", screams one adrenalin-fuelled trader as chaos hits the markets.  

Along with the short film, TV, video, radio, and social running nationally, other executions that bring PBC Inc. to life include a full-page print ad in the New York Times aping a press release from the real PBC Inc. A New York Times online branded content article written from the perspective of one of their business reporters covering the merger, with a landing page mimicking an official website for PBC Inc., including a mission statement, CEO bios, and a company timeline.
