For those of you thought 'Thunderbirds Are Go' was the height of 'off-the-rack' statements and that Captain Scarlett was the new black, does Jeremy Scott have the fashion show for you.
Incorporating all of the supermarionation mastery of Gerry Anderson's greatest, Scott's presentation of his Moschino spring/summer 2021 collection sees 40 new looks flaunted on the carved frames of fantastically realised marionette puppets.
Made in collaboration with filmmaker (and Wyld Stallyn) Alex Winter, alongside the talents at the Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, No Strings Attached is a joyous 7-minute film that embraces the absurdity of the medium, not only giving the model models excellently controlled poise, but also rendering familiar figures of fashion journalism into the puppet audience, including Vogue's Anna Wintour and The New York Times' Vanessa Friedman.
