Direction duo, Phil Morrison and Joe Ventura have teamed up with Mother London and Bold Productions, to create a droll spot for the rail company’s new ‘Complicated and Expensive’ campaign.

A couple are having a lively debate as to whether the easy-to-use, money-saving approach of the Trainline app is better than a complex and expensive solution. 

Two very different economic outlooks within one household and whilst there’s no resolution to the debate, the guy who says he prefers complex, pricey options doesn’t exactly convince with his latest purchase which renders him ill-shod and unable to travel very far at all on foot.
