This film from Garlic Madrid directing team BRBR is a shocking reminder of the intolerance that still affects many people's lives.
Created by DDB Madrid for online anti-discrimination platform Héroes de Hoy [Heroes of Today], the powerful five-minute film relays the story of LGBTQ+ people at a bar and a sudden raid by - and the subsequent intolerance the group face from - the police.
Situated in 60s New York, the story, which focuses specifically on Julio Zuñiga, sets itself up as a part of the Stonewall riots of 1969 but reveals, towards the end of the film, that all is not what it seems as the short highlights that prejudice and bigotry is not restricted to the past.
