This is a passion project like no other, shot and made through lockdown, Craving is deliciously crazy story of unruly self-isolation appetites cooked up by Friends Electric director Greg Barth

Rich in surreal details – a fluffy-clouded René Magritte blue sky is framed by a picture window; the verbal pun of a crumpled jacket on a hatstand; a retro computer screen that transforms into a microwave – the film tells the tale of a solo splosh party in which a man dials up baked spud and beans-themed session that gets out of hand when the flow of beans isn't quite as he’d like and the ‘foil nappy’ he gets his sexy selfie spud to wear results in the wrong kind of hot potato.

Full marks to actor Rodrigo Penalosa for a nuanced performance.

Best line: “I don’t like spillage.”
