There’s a lot of talk these days about meta this meta that, but the only real meta you need to consider is metaphysics – the branch of philosophy that explores the fundamental nature of existence; of identity, space, time, causality and possibility.
Can we really trust what we seem to be perceiving? The fun spot, What the Flying Fish creates a joyfully odd nonsense universe that poses such questions as, are those beer bottles in the fridge really dancing and talking? When our hair goes inexplicably big at the salon, is that real or are we just characters in a video watched by creatures from the future?
When two blokes drinking the beer in a bar ponder, "what if we’re actually two blokes in a Flying Fish ad?", you have to succumb to bewilderment and accept that the truth is probably that we're all slightly tipsy and are living inside a giant snow globe.
