With Bonnie Tyler blasting over the speakers, an adorable pooch as our protagonist and big-budget sheen smeared all over the screen, this sweet spot from KIA couldn't scream Super Bowl any louder if it tried.
Telling the tale of Robo Dog, the spot, from David & Goliath and Biscuit's Noam Murro, sees our titular hero scoot around the city in pursuit of an EV-driving gent whose electro-friendliness he admires.
The film will air as part of Sunday's Big Game, and is accompanied by a pair of innovative tech additions: the Robo Dogmented Reality mobile web experience, which allows animal lovers to scan a QR Code to bring Kia’s Robo Dog into their own home, as well as enticing users to consider adopting an animal in need in their local communities; and the brand's launch its first-ever TikTok integration, which will provide users a chance to dance with Robo Dog to Total Eclipse of the Heart, adorably including a trick whereby each time users hear “turn around”, Robo Dog turns, and users can turn with him.
