It's that time of year again; when friendships are pushed to the side, when team colours come to the fore and when stats count for everything. Yes, it's the newest iteration of EA Sport's all-conquering FIFA game.

This new spot, created by adam&eveDDB, focusses on the game's innovators who play ‘wrong’ in the stadium, in the street and in the game. The 90-second film highlights that football has always been pushed forward by people who do things differently, and celebrates those who play ‘wrong’ and defy conventional wisdom to play in their own uncompromising style.

The ad, directed by Yann Demange through Pulse Films, features Eden Hazard, Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho, Vinícius Jr and Megan Rapinoe, alongside street football innovator Lisa Freestyle and boxer Anthony Joshua. The film is part of a global campaign calling on players to 'Break New Ground'.

“There has always been a ‘right’ way to do things in football," says Mat Goff, Joint CEO of adam&eveDDB. "But the global FIFA community are constantly making and breaking their own rules to show that wrong is the new right and changing the game for the better.’
