A new campaign for the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport features two simple but powerful spots that show how talking is the first step in addressing the issue of domestic violence.

Created by TBWA/Neboko Amsterdam and directed by Bram Schouw through Bonkers, the two 40-second films feature a father and daughter and uncle and nephew who approach the topic with care and tact, asking the other person if they're ok and starting a conversation about the issues they are facing.

The films visualise the suspicion of domestic violence and show the importance of encouraging people to start a conversation about the subject, bringing it out of the darkness and into the light.
