Director Louis Farge channels tongue-in-cheek humor for equipment rental company Kiloutou.
As experts in construction extol the virtues of various tools, they all smile at the camera and tell you, in no unequivocal terms, not to buy this product. This Chainsaw? Absolutely the best you could get. Don’t get it. This Perforator? Top of the line. Wonderful. Don’t make that purchase. That Concrete Mixer? Perfect for the job. Would never buy it.
The sweet wink/twist at the end of the ads makes these pieces clever and fun. Taking a bold stance within climate action and sustainability trends, Kiloutou has decided to relaunch its advertising in the public sphere with these three ads from ROSAPARK. Renting is, after all, the sharing of resources, and is rooted in the economic values of community care; the campaign takes advantage of renewed public interest in sustainability in an authentic way.
