With the help of agency VCCP, the British canine welfare charity has launched a poignant campaign that shows us the importance of helping people keep their pets when times get tough.
At the heart of the initiative is a touching hero film directed by Nicolas Jack Davies through Sweetshop, which introduces us to the heartwarming relationship between a man and his terrier, Milo.
Throughout the spot, titled Ground Dog Day, we see just how much of a positive impact Milo has on his owner’s life, from providing companionship and cuddles to helping him get out of bed on the days that feel a little darker.
With the charity receiving over 1,000 calls weekly from people needing to give up their pets, the initiative aims to reposition Dog's Trust as an organisation that not only helps to re-home dogs, but provides pets and owners with advice, training and support at every stage of their journey.
