Daniel Börjesson joins Bang TV

Jeremy McWilliams and Tom Whitehead are cock-a-hoop to announce that Daniel Börjesson has joined Bang TV’s roster for UK commercial representation.
Swedish-born Börjesson has built a fantastic reel of work that elegantly blends aspirational modern lifestyle and naturalistic storytelling. He’s put this to good effect for a number of high-end automobile brands, but it was the passion and energy of the people in his films that caught the eye at Bang headquarters.
“You’ve never seen so much kissing on a reel. Just from the few spots I saw they really appealed to my tactile, demonstrative Greek side. I had the feeling we’d get on famously and on our first call we hit it off straight away,” recalls McWilliams. “But as soon as we’d decided we wanted him to join the team he announced he was off to Mount Everest. It seemed like a drastic way to avoid us and I was genuinely concerned that we’d never see him again!"
Happily the expedition was only to Base Camp and Börjesson made it back unravaged by frostbite and eager to make his mark in London.
Recent work for Audi Quattro shows the diverse ways he can apply his impeccable taste, and when you see his spots for Ramlösa and Scandinavian Airlines, you realise that his real strength is in drawing out great performances from people.
“Daniel’s work all feels so naturally observed. Nothing feels staged,” added Whitehead. "The performances have a documentary veracity to them, but it’s all so gloriously beautiful. And, damn it, he has a fine taste in hats.”
