Chloe x Halle are thirsty for success in CORE Hydration campaign

CORE Hydration has enlisted singing sister duo, Chloe x Halle, and American artistic gymnast Zoe Miller for its new campaign underscoring the importance of self-care in the journey to the top. 

Titled Start at the core, it was produced by Bob Industries and directed by Kim Geldenhuys.

Two spots showcase how the stars got to where they are today – by putting in the work, finding their passion, and getting their mind right. The key element through it all is looking after themselves, with CORE Hydration on hand to help.

Understated and authentic, the spots allow this sense of connection to oneself to shine, while organically highlighting how we’re always accompanied by our water bottles in almost everything we do. Treating the CORE Hydration bottles as characters in themselves, Director Geldenhuys and the Bob Industries team were able to integrate the product seamlessly into the narrative in a way that feels genuine.

Collaboration was the cornerstone of the shoot, with Chloe x Halle and Miller fully embracing the process and all parties allowed the freedom to improvise. Despite the stars' limited availability and the challenge of conveying a deeply human, feeling-based narrative within 15 to 30 seconds, the team scheduled carefully to push the time to its fullest potential, still letting the scenes unfold in a natural way that complements the campaign’s ethos.

It was fundamentally all about balance and about care for your inner self, and how you see and manage yourself on a daily basis. And of course the importance of hydration and the role that plays in your wellbeing. It was a fun experience with a great cast and crew, I’m super grateful.”
