As much about the romance between Sir Michael and Lady Christine Hill as it is about the origins of their business, this lovely film for Michael Hill Jeweller is a great example of promoting a brand ethos instead of a sales incentive.
Developed in partnership with CHEP Brisbane, the campaign leads with a film that explores the couple's story, from their first meeting in 1964 through to their wedding, and the opening of the very first Michael Hill store in 1979, cementing the concept of love as intrinsic with the products they produce.
Charmingly directed by Noah Marshall through Larchmont New Zealand, with a slightly convoluted narrative navigated through some dependable storytelling, The Jewellers is an endearing and likeable tale told deftly.
