charlieuniformtango Signs Editor Gordon Carey

Award-winning editor Gordon Carey has joined charlieuniformtango for exclusive representation in the Southwest region of the States.

Lola Lott, owner/CEO of charlieuniformtango, announced the signing of award-winning editor Gordon Carey with charlieuniformtango for exclusive representation in the Southwest region of the U.S.  "Gordon brings such a rich record of creativity and success," Lott said.  "We're excited to have him with us. His talents will be a great asset to our clients. We've already bid a job for him out of Dallas!"

Carey was born and raised in Los Angeles.  He began his career as a page at ABC-TV in Hollywood.  There, he developed a passion for film that led him to commercial post-production.  He has been cutting commercials for over 20 years, working with many of the best agencies and directors in the business.  He was most recently at Butcher Editorial.  He spent the majority of his career at Filmcore (now Beast).  Carey has edited many campaigns including: ESPN's "This is SportsCenter," Holiday Inn's "Meet Mark" and Toyota's "Swagger Wagon."  He has recently wrapped up projects for AT&T, Yahoo Fantasy Baseball and ReMax.  Carey edited the "Cat Herders" spot for EDS, which first aired during Super Bowl XXXIV.  This marked one of six times his spots have appeared on the Super Bowl.  "Cat Herders" is considered by many to be one of the top Super Bowl commercials of all time.  His spots have won awards ranging from the AICE Editing Award, Cannes Gold Lion, One Show Pencil, Clio, Belding and Emmy Awards.

"I'm looking forward to working in Texas," Gordon said.  "I've heard great things about charlieuniformtango - about their work and their people. I'm excited to be part of the team, and I know my editing sensibilities will be a great fit there."
