True Gent announces new Smack Talk for Funko's POP! Yourself NFL Style campaign. 

Fans can now customise their own Funko POP! to look just like them while repping their favourite NFL team. Though only four inches tall, each POP! talks smack to their human counterpart, bragging how big of a fan they are, prompting fans to question: Who’s the bigger fan, you or your Pop? The spots debuted with the kickoff of the new NFL season last week.

For the :30’s and :15’s spots, Founder Jordan Brady worked closely with Steve Williams, Funko's Senior Creative Director, Brand & Marketing, who was hands-on throughout the process. Each POP and human fan needed to be instantly identifiable as a match, crucial for the spot’s success.

“My kids have collected Funko Pops for years, so working with Steve and the Funko team made me cool to my family, always a win," said Brady. “Each actor talks smack as their own Pop, we pitched each voice lightly. My Pop is a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan.”

Brady and Williams previously collaborated on several spots for Kaiser Permanente while Williams worked agency-side at DNA Seattle. True Gent packaged all production and post-production.
