Dancing finger people, pink dolphins, cat/gramophone mashups, electric nipples, weightlifting tongues, many-legged hats – all these and more treats cavort colourfully in this trippy music video for the Cassius track Dance On.
Produced by DIVISION/Paris, the promo rewards a rewatch with repeated pause key hits to reveal the full splendour of deranged ideas and lush patterns packed into the film.
Dance On was recently discovered in Cassius's archives and was the final track written and recorded by the duo Philippe Zdar and Boombass together in 2018 before Zdar died in 2019.
Along with traditional 2D and Claymation, the directors have incorporated live-action footage of Zdar and Bombass performing together.
