Created by Jung von Matt and directed by Shane Griffin through Akkurat Studios, this innovative spot features slick and playful VFX that see iconic artworks transforming, shifting and rolling out of their frames, recreated as works of ‘Forwardism’, drawing a parallel to BMW’s re-imagining of what a car should be.
‘Forwardism’, a movement made up by BMW, represents the pursuit of excellence in design, technology and luxury as an ode to their ever-evolving style.
Griffin explains: “Forwardism depicts the reimagining of convention, transforming what we thought we knew into something new, something we thought was impossible, and yet here it is before our eyes.
