The BlueForge Alliance [BFA] is a not-for-profit organisation, the mission of which is to enable the submarine manufacturing industry to build and maintain America’s next generation of undersea platforms.
Not your usual advertiser, you might think, and this isn't your usual ad because, for most of it, there's no indication of what the campaign is for or where it's heading. But you're certainly drawn into the story of an overworked, underpaid and stressed-out woman who seems to be juggling multiple jobs - delivery driver, taxi driver, call centre worker, dog walker, small business owner - none of which she seems to enjoy, all of which come with a certain amount of stress.
Directed by Nick Ball through MJZ and created by adam&eveDDB New York the near-two-minute spot is a fast-paced, fast-cut film that perfectly captures the frenetic intensity and anxiety of trying to make ends meet, before the BFA offers a more stable path.
