Shops have long known the allure of the 3-for-the-price-of-2 deal, but it's not something that's necessarily transitioned into music.
However, Brazilian rapper Bivolt, with the help of AKQA, is set to change that with a technologically innovating, and genuinely gratifying, music video experiment.
Composing two seperate songs to be included in her album: 110v and 220v, Bivolt cleverly constructed them so that, when played simultaneously, they complement each other perfectly - creating a 'third' track and introducing Bivolt's entire personality as an artist.
Aiding this, to visual represent this experience, the agency partnered with Landia and director Aline Lata to produce two music videos that, when also played at the same time, mirror each other not only musically, but also with narratives designed to work in perfect sync.
Speaking of the project, Bivolt states: "110v represents my R&B, Soul and chant. Meanwhile 220v, is my hip-hop side, the rhyme battles and the streets. Although, it's only when you play them at the same time that you understand who I am, my background and my personality.
"In a few words, it's Bivolt feat Bivolt"
