There's no denying that the 80% visually impaired, disabled or disadvantaged workforce statistic of BECO, the social enterprise that makes environmentally-friendly toiletries, is impressive.
However, with their latest campaign through TBWA\London, Steal Our Staff, the brand are looking to draw attention to the Disability Employment Gap and disrupt employers’ outdated attitudes towards people with disabilities, which takes the impressive-meter off the charts.
Started on 3rd September, the campaign consists of a a packaging takeover, which sees staff CVs on their product labels. The packaging takeover will be supported by press executions comprising an open letter that challenges employers to take a stand when it comes to hiring people with disabilities, as well as OOH executions that amplify the #StealOurStaff message.
Supporting the message is a endearing spot from Hoi Polloi's Dan Castella, showing the staff appealing to potential employers.
